Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
I'm bored so we're having a contest! WIN! WIN! WIN!
Ok, so yesterday THE had the wonderful idea of putting our wacky drawings on t-shirts. But since I'm not made of magic or money, I had another idea.

"NAME THAT DRAWING AND GET SOMETHING WITH IT ON THAT SOMETHING" CONTEST!

Here's how it works:

1. Take a look at the drawings behind the cut.
2. Pick your favorite drawing
3. Give it a name (i.e. "Angry Jew Cat" or "Winky Hairy-Legged Robot Androgynous Male") and leave a comment on this post.
4. I will pick a few of my favorites and the winners will get something* from cafepress.com with their named drawing on it!

This contest is open to anyone who reads this. Tell your friends! As long as they're willing to comment, they could win. And who wouldn't want to win something?? Also, the drawings will be rescanned at a higher quality.

*Prizes will include cool** things like a coffee mug, t-shirt, tile coaster and other amazing things that you never knew you needed!
**At least I like to think so. Hopefully you*** will too.
***You?? Who do you think you are anyway???

DEADLINE TO ENTER CONTEST IS JULY 27TH, YOU MAY ENTER MORE THAN ONCE

Good luck!

I'll give you the ones I did so you can rescan those puppies, as I realized when I was about to scan them, my scanner isn't working, so I just took some pretty photos.

We NEEEEED to keep doing these and make them into a book which I would LOVE to promote the heck out of at Fluffinbrooklyn! I'm thinking we keep going until we get a kick-ass 100 of um! We should start keeping a running tally of who all the drawer-ers are!

As for names, this is going to take some thinking...

I'm totally down! And don't think we're going to stop doing this anytime soon. Anya and I did another one on the train last night. So much fun!

We had a good idea for the book too, but that will be sent in a secret email.

These are all so off-the-wall and wonderful that I don't know where to start. If you put all these in a book, I'd buy it in a second.

I think it's a great idea. Colleen suggested going to 100, I'm down!

Don't forget to submit a name! And don't be shy. The best one I came up with was "Angry Jew Cat". I just call 'em like I see 'em.

Holy crap! Norbert DOES have a fish stuck in his skull! I drew it and didn't even notice. We've got to get this man to a doctor!

I love the name Higgenbottom. The mail house that we use at the office is called McVicker and Higginbotham. I really only chose to use them because their name sounds like a circus act.
